Benin – 2026 legislative elections: Bloc Républicain submits its list of candidates to CENA
The Bloc Républicain (BR) submitted its list of candidates for the legislative elections of January 11, 2026, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at the CENA headquarters. Led by MPs Joseph Anani, Assan Séibou and Barthélémy Kassa, the delegation carried out the procedure at 9:22 PM, in the final hours of the legal deadline.

A few hours before the unofficial close of file submissions, the Bloc Républicain finally submitted its list of candidates to the Commission électorale nationale autonome (CENA). The team sent by the party of the rearing horse entered the institution’s gates at 9:22 PM.
MPs Joseph Anani, Assan Séibou and Barthélémy Kassa, major figures of the party, led the delegation responsible for presenting the files in accordance with the rules of the Electoral Code. Their presence reflects the strategic importance attached to this vote, which is decisive for the political balance in the National Assembly.
