The Ethics Committee of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has sanctioned the former President of the Tanzanian Football Association, Jamal Emil Malinzi. For embezzlement, the former manager was suspended for ten years.
Jamal Emil Malinzi, former Tanzanian football leader, is suspended by FIFA for ten years. Convicted of embezzling funds from FIFA, CAF and the Tanzanian Football Association, Malinzi was banned from all football-related activities nationally and internationally for a decade. According to the ethics commission’s statement, he will also have to pay a fine of CHF 500,000 (EUR 455,700).
