M. Pokora received this Saturday 9 November 2019, the trophy of Francophone Artist of the Year at the NRJ Music Awards in Cannes. At the trophy reception, the artist made a stunning love statement to Christina Milian and Violet.
It is live on TF1 that Mr. Pokora received for the seventh time in his career the trophy of Francophone Male Artist of the Year, in front of Dadju, Maitre Gims, Kendji Girac, Slimane and Soprano. Very moved by this record, Mr. Pokora thanked his audience for their loyalty. “What an adventure! It’s pretty crazy because it’s already been 13 or 14 years since I won my first NRJ award. I’ve always said that a career is a long-distance race, not a sprint. Thanks to you, I’m having a great race. I would like to thank you for always being there, after all these years, for supporting me as you do, for believing in me, for trusting me and for accompanying me on each of my projects,” said the 33-year old singer.
And then, as Closer reports, he dedicated his trophy to Christina Milian, his pregnant partner of his first child, and to his daughter-in-law Violet: “I dedicate this prize to my partner who is expecting a happy event, and to my daughter-in-law Violet. Here, this is for you. Love you”, he said.
