The former President of the Republic Boni Yayi will probably be back in Cotonou on 20 November 2019.
Boni Yayi could be back this Wednesday 20 November 2019. According to the daily Matin Libre, which reports the information, the former head of state is returning to Cotonou accompanied by an ECOWAS delegation.
In an article published on 18 November, Jeune Afrique had indicated that Boni Yayi, fearing for his safety, wished to be accompanied. A meeting between Boni Yayi and Patrice Talon is also announced on Wednesday, 20 November 2019.

After more than a month in residence under high police surveillance, Boni Yayi left when he should be listened to by the judge in connection with the violence of 1st and 2nd may that occurred in his neighbourhood in Cadjèhoun. But before his departure, and even a few days after his hospitalization, he promised to go to the judge’s office himself as soon as he returned home.
