The day Lionel Messi wanted to leave FC Barcelona

Argentina footballer Lionel Messi had at one point in his career considered leaving his eternal and only club FC Barcelona.

The five-time Lionel Messi, who plays for Barcelona FC as a striker, told Catalan radio Rac 1, quoted by afriquesports, in an interview that he had seriously considered leaving his home club between 2012-2014. “Honestly, I was just about to leave. In the years 2012, 13 or 14, I had a very bad time. Yes, because of the problem with the Treasury. It was very difficult for me and my family because people didn’t really know what it was or what was going on. Some of the press did the same thing too,” the player admitted.

According to Lionel Andrés Messi Cuccitini, sometimes nicknamed Leo Messi, born on june 24, 1987 in Rosario, the most difficult thing is that he happened to be one of the first players to suffer the wrath of the tax authorities: “I think I was the first and that’s why everything was so difficult. Then they got angry and showed that they were moving forward with me, then with others”.
