Former Italian international Thiago Motta has just been promoted to Genoa coach in the Italian top division. It would be an official start for the Italian pro.
The Italian club Genoa CFC appointed former Parisian midfielder Thiago Motta as coach on Tuesday evening. At the age of 37, Motta moved to the Genoa bench in Italy’s Serie A. A big challenge to start a career as a professional coach with a club that is currently 19th in its championship. This appointment comes after the official dismissal of Aurelio Andreazzoli. Thiago Motta coached the Paris Saint-Germain U19 last season. He is expected for his first test on Saturday against Mario Balotelli’s Brescia. This club has won only one victory since the start of the Seria A.
