France: President Paul Biya actively sought by the Anti-Sardinards Brigarde
Announced a few days ago, the Anti-Sardinards Brigarde made up of the Cameroonian anti-Biya diaspora, mobilized on Thursday, 10 October 2019 in Lyon to launch an assault against President Paul Biya, whom she described as a “first rank dictator”.
After a period of international empty chair politics, Cameroonian President Paul Biya accepted the invitation of his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. He is taking part in the 6th replenishment conference of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in Lyon, which began in October 2019.
But Paul Biya’s presence in Lyon does not go unnoticed on the Anti-Sardinards’ Brigarde radars. Made up of the Cameroonian anti-Biya diaspora, the BAS, which has repeatedly demonstrated against Paul Biya in Switzerland for his stays considered “very luxurious and exorbitant” in the famous continental hotel, is watching like oil on the fire Paul Biya in Lyon. Coming from Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, etc., the members of the BAS converged on the hotel where the Head of State and his delegation are staying. They intend to disturb Paul Biya’s stay in Lyon with their demonstration.
The French police are in control of the situation. A drone would be deployed for surveillance. To be continued…
