FIFA unveiled its world ranking on Thursday 24 October after the FIFA days and qualifying matches for the various continental competitions.

The podium remains unchanged after this new ranking by the International Federation of Association Football. France, world champion, kept her second place seat following her victory over Iceland and her draw (1-1) against Turkey in the Euro 2020 qualifiers. Belgium, world leader since September 2018, continues to lead the troop. The Selecao (Brazil) after two draws against two African teams, Nigeria and Senegal maintain their place in the top three. Major football nations such as Spain, Portugal, Uruguay and Croatia are in the top 10. The African teams as usual are not included.

2. France – 1726 points (-)

3. Brazil – 1715 points (-)

4. England – 1651 points (-)

5. Uruguay – 1639 points (+1)

6. Portugal – 1632 points (-1)

7. Croatia – 1631 points (+1)

8. Spain – 1625 points (+2)

9. Argentina – 1617 points (+1)

10. Colombia – 1615 points (-1)
