Brazil U17 World Cup: Spain do without Ansu Fati’s services

The young Barcelona FC player, Ansu Fati, is not invited to the U-17 World Championship in Brazil. On Wednesday, David Gordo, the coach, unveiled the list of players called up.

The new Spaniard will not participate in the U-17 world championship in Brazil. Announced with great fanfare at this expedition, the Catalan player of Bissau-Guinean origin is the missing person in the list revealed by David Gordo. After five games in the professional category with FC Barcelona, Ansu Fati scored two goals and a decisive pass.

At 16 years old, this performance is striking to the great European leaders. His absence will certainly fuel the debates in Spain. It was even with a view to seeing Fati Ansu defend the Spanish colours that his naturalisation procedure was rushed. Barcelona, his formative club, will not be happy to see this move away from his prodigy.
