The government of President Patrice Talon does not only sanction the absence of results, it also knows how to stimulate school heads who make results. This is what he has just demonstrated through congratulatory letters to school principals.
Some 30 directors of public and private secondary schools in Atacora received letters of congratulations from the Minister of Technical Secondary Education and Vocational Training. The ceremony for the presentation of these letters took place during the teacher’s day at the Natitingou Girls’ High School, reports the ABP. These letters constitute the government’s recognition through Minister Kakpo Mahougnon to these school principals for their excellent results in the undergraduate certificate of study (BEPC) and the baccalaureate for the 2018-2019 school and university year.
Of the 29 institutions concerned by this recognition, 21 received government congratulations for reaching a threshold of excellence at the 2019 Bepc and 08 institutions for their performance at the baccalaureate level. In presenting the congratulatory letters on behalf of the Minister, the Director of Secondary Education of Atacora urged the leaders of these institutions to do more to maintain their commitment to the pyramid of excellence. These words have received a positive response from school heads who have made a commitment to improve their performance in the years to come.
