France: A man found dead in a river

Friends of the victim found him on thursday morning in the Moselle. He had spent the night in a tent near the municipal campsite in Metz.

The lifeless body of a 20-year-old man was found this morning in the river Moselle, located nearly 300 kilometres from Paris. As reported by the eastern republican, the young man had slept in a tent after a barbecue night while his friends slept in a van parked near the tent. It was one of them who discovered the victim’s body in the river. While he was trying to get his friend’s body out of the water, the other friends alerted the emergency services. Unfortunately, the worst had already happened, the victim had died.

According to investigators who believe that the trail of discomfort would be preferred, said an autopsy will be performed on the body to determine the circumstances of his death. They also state that no papers or suspicious traces were found on the 20-year-old.
