Champions League: Messi will make his debut against Dortmund

Absent since August 5 due to injury, Lionel Messi made his return to collective training and is part of Valverde’s group to face Dortmund. According to the Spanish press, the star is expected to play his first games of the season on Tuesday at Signal Iduna Park.

Is it too early to have Lionel Messi play? The Argentine has just returned from an injury that lasted more than a month. And his coach Ernesto Valverde, is reportedly planning to bring him into the game in the second half against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Tuesday (9 pm live on RMC Sport 2).

“Few days ago, we weren’t sure, but in the last training sessions with the team he trained very well and treated with his injury. We’ll see about that. We will have to see how he feels, he must hope,” Valverde declared in the press conference.

According to Marca, and AS, Barcelona’s plan is to give Messi a few minutes in the second half of the game at Signal Iduna Park. The legend of Barça has already received the green light from the doctors.
